In geometry, a line is the fundamental figure that extends endlessly into two directions. By using the methods of measurement and modeling, a line can be transformed into an object. The project of A LINE aims on observing and recording the regulating geometries in the Santa Fe Freight Depot, then abstracting the building from a line to object. The building of Santa Fe Freight Depot is 1200’ x 30’ x 60’. The project will start with this measurement as an outline to transform it into a figure.
